This is the last weekend of Breast Cancer Awareness month, so why not kick it off with a little representation of the boobies, gamer style!
First, you can show your personal support by playing as the female characters (both versions of Anya, Sam, & Myrrah) and rocking an all pink weapon scheme. The Deadly Cute, or pink camo weapon skin, for all starting weapons will cost you 240 Microsoft Points. Let me stress this, none of this will go to charity, but you can simply show your support while playing Gears.
Second, outofgears.com and gowcharity.com will be hosting Waves of Charity 2.0: Pink Lancers Fight Cancer all this weekend. Head over to their page here to see all the details on how you can participate.
Finally, and most importantly, this has less to do with Gears of War, but Pittsburgh gamers can do their part and actually donate to breast cancer research! The following two sites (PA Breast Cancer Coalition and Young Women’s Breast Cancer Awareness Foundation) are Pennsylvania and/or Pittsburgh based, so your donations will be going to research right here in the Burgh!
Make your donations, check out Waves of Charity, and put it down with your Pink Lancers all Gears Weekend long!
