The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, Season 2, Episode 1, ‘Back to Beverly Hills’ Videos – Parts 1-6. The show begins with the housewives and husbands gathered at Adrienne Maloof’s home. They sit and process their thoughts about the Russell Armstrong tragedy — video posted below on the left — episode 1, part 1.
And then the episode begins. In a quick recap, Jason asks Ken for permission to marry his daughter, Pandora. They agree to keep it a secret from Lisa so that Pandora can share the news with her mother. Kyle and Mauricio are moving into a new house and are busy packing up their stuff. Kim and Kyle are not really speaking to each other as Kim is still very hurt from what she and Kyle went through last year. We see Kim cry and say that she hopes that she and Kyle can be close again some day. Camille gets a delivery from Kelsey: shoes and baby stuff from their house in the Hamptons. She’ll donate the shoes. Their divorce is final and she’s staying in Malibu. We learn that Kelsey and Camille don’t communicate unless it’s through a mediator regarding their kids.
Adrienne and Paul meet with their chef regarding the menu for the dinner party they’re throwing to celebrate Camille’s guest role on $#*! My Dad Says. Adrienne and Paul bicker. Kyle shops for something to wear to Adrienne’s dinner. At the shop Taylor tells Kyle that she bumped into Cedric and it gave her an anxiety attack. After what happened between Lisa and Cedric, no one is friendly with Cedric. Taylor feels that Lisa doesn’t like her. Kyle tells her that she should clear the air with Lisa.
Adrienne Maloof has her dinner party. They all laugh as they watch a screening of Camille in her sit-com role. Adrienne and Paul argue at dinner, which makes everyone uncomfortable. Giggy commits a faux paw by drinking out of Adrienne’s very expensive glass at the table. Taylor admits that she and Russell are in marriage counseling. Ken Todd responds that he would feel that he were “weak” if he were to go to marriage therapy, which upsets Taylor. Ken is upset to hear that Taylor is “offended” by his opinion and Lisa and Ken end up leaving the party. Will it be Lisa vs Taylor this season? It is with great sadness that we begin our second season without one of our cast members. As I’m sure most of you know by now, Taylor’s husband Russell took his own life several weeks ago. All of us connected with the production send our love and prayers to Taylor and Kennedy and our condolences to Russell’s family.
We, along with the network, took a close and thorough look at the entire new season of shows and, where appropriate, have made some changes in light of the circumstances. Our goal, as always, is to present honest, accurate and compelling stories about our cast. We take great pride in being responsible and respectful in the way we tell those stories, and I trust you’ll find that the series hits the right tone, even when we present some tough subjects and tense moments.
The first episode begins with a sequence we shot just a few days ago when we gathered the cast to talk about their feelings, share their emotions and sense of loss, and try to put the preceding several months during which we shot the series into context. And then the show begins, and in true Beverly Hills style, takes you back to the spring where our story begins. The cast opened up their lives like never before and you’ll see a compelling and inside view of what life is really like in Beverly Hills.
