Noah’s Ark Animal Rescue (NAR) is located in Okatie, SC and is just a hop-skip-and-jump away from Rincon or Pt. Wentworth area of Georgia, Hilton Head in South Carolina, Bluffton, Port Royal or Beaufort in South Carolina, and even Ridgeland in South Carolina. Here you will find dogs that they have available for adoption. Their adoptive dogs are ones that were unwanted, abused or severely neglected. This article will show you just a few of the many that are available. They are also up at the Petco in Bluffton every Sunday from 12:00pm until 4:00pm showing off some of their adoptables. Sunday September 25th they will be having Milo, Gabby and Butch for viewing. They will also be showing this trio in Rincon, GA at Webb Animal Clinic during an adoption event they will be holding on October 8th from 3pm until 6pm. Check out the recycled dogs below and be sure to check out their pictures in the gallery. You can also find out more about each of these dogs by visiting the NAR website or by calling them at (843) 540-6755.
COSTELLOis one of the sweetest dogs you will ever meet. He was found wandering down a road with his head hanging low and most of the left side of his face almost torn off. This incredible 3-4 year old Pitbull / Staffordshire Terrier Mix will melt the coldest heart. He is an incredible soul that will make a wonderful addition to a very special family. He is healthy, happy and ready to be adopted. He is neutered, micro chipped, vaccinated, house- and crate trained. He is a great family dog who loves people.
BENGAL is a 3 – 4 year old English Bulldog/Shar Pei mix. She was emaciated, pregnant and in rough shape. Bengal was scheduled to be euthanized and they couldn’t let this happen. She is now a healthy, happy dog who loves people and children. She is good with other dogs but needs some introduction. Bengal is a great family dog that is spayed, micro chipped, vaccinated, house- and crate trained.
MILOis an incredibly 3 – 4 year old sweet pit bull that it appears was used as bait for a dog fight. He is a lover not a fighter which is why he was abandoned. Only the most submissive dogs are used as bait dogs. He is as sweet as a dog can be and loves people and other dogs. He is happy and healthy now and just needs someone he can love without getting hurt. He is neutered, micro chipped, vaccinated, house- and crate trained. He is a great family dog all around.
BUTCH is a 2 year old American Bulldog/Boxer mix who steels your heart the first time you look into this beautiful eyes. He was rescued by NAR when he was already on a leash being walked to a room for euthanization. They couldn’t just let it happen that this beautiful soul and dog would be put to sleep. Butch is the most incredible dog and nothing but sweet and loving. He is a little shy until he feels safe. He loves people and the company of other dogs. He is neutered, micro chipped, vaccinated, house- and crate trained. He is also a great family dog all around.
GABBY was tied up and left outside to starve. When she came to NAR, she could barely walk and all she cared about doing was giving the nurses kisses and wagging her tail. Dying by starvation is a terrible way to die. It is a long, slow torture. Gabby is now between 2 – 2 ½ years old, healthy and feels good. She loves people and other dogs. All she wants now is being with a family where she can feel safe, play, relax and show her love all day long. She is spayed, micro chipped, vaccinated, house- and crate trained. She is also a great family dog all around.
