The opening of WWE RAW was probably the most entertaining portion of the show. Dolph Ziggler and Cody Rhodes deserve to be elevated and given the valuable air-time on RAW to push their characters. Of course, Christian’s interruption was classic as he continues his quest for “1 more match”. The gripes from these wrestlers to HHH set up some entertaining matches throughout the show and also set up a potential merger which we saw later in RAW with David Otunga leading the pow-wow backstage.
More bad news for Rey Mysterio Jr., WM 28 appearance in jeopardy
I thought it was a bad idea to have CM Punk and Del Rio fight each other so soon before the PPV. Cena vs. Christian could have easily been the main event on RAW and we could have still had the Del Rio chair attack spot. WWE should have done a better job making us want to see the triple threat match at the PPV. As of now, there’s not a great deal of excitement for this PPV match.
Mason Ryan as a “face” is not a good idea. This guy lacks the “mic work” and “face personality” to make a run as a “Face” successful. He’s a much better “heel”. Additionally, Mason Ryan is highly regarded as another Batista within the WWE Universe. He could easily use this as part of his heel persona and refer to the fact that people consider him a “rip-off”. He could use this to fuel his attacks on others. Ryan could get the Mark Henry push on RAW.

The WWE Divas should be given their own show because they are relegated to 5 minutes on RAW or SmackDown and it’s when everyone heads to the bathroom or the concession stands.
I’ve been on board with the Mark Henry “monster” push since day 1. WWE continues to do a great job getting him “over”. His domination over Great Khali was fun to watch.
I would love to see the WWE continue to “push” Swagger and Ziggler as a stable. I like this stable and I think it can get over with Vickie G. as the manager. I would like to see them add 1 more guy to the group eventually. Perhaps, Drew McIntyre as he needs to get back into the spotlight.
Cody Rhodes will become a main event star in 2012. His victory in the Battle Royal was much needed after the beating he suffered at the hands of Orton last week on SmackDown. WWE needs to continue pushing him on SmackDown.
