Arizona’s Republican party and CNN will be hosting yet another debate in Phoenix. Until now thwe mainstream press has done its best to make this a Romney-Perry race but Herman Cain is coming on strong and starting to edge out Governor Rick Perry for second place.
There are many astounding facts to know about Herman Cain. Our favorite is that he is a businessman who rose from the ranks of Main Street while Mitt Romeny is the crony capitalist of Wall Street. The mains street press is desperate to pick Mitt Romney as the Republican nominee because it believes he is the weakest candidate gainst Obama. The main street press is doing everything to influence the electorate and be on the lookout for this bias during this next debate. Unfortunately, the alternate press and blogosphere are like a million termites eating that monolithic main stream press into oblivion. The main stream press no longer controls the message.
Incidently, things are moving so fast that Herman Cain has taken second place in some polls edging out Perry and within a few points of Romney. In other polls Cain is even tied with Romney. Main Street is speaking loud and clear. Is anyone listening?
There is no better way to present Herman Cain in contrast to the counter culture that Sly Stone and President grew up in. The two worlds could not be further apart.
Sly Stone is going broke. He now lives in a van even though over four decades he made hundreds of millions of dollars and played to millions of fans. Sly Stone reflects the pop culture and values Obama grew up in and took to.
President Obama is forcing his country to go broke.

Not only is Herman Cain not going broke because he understands how not to but Herman Cain is the rising star on his way to the top. What a total and refreshing contrast Herman Cain is to Obama. As Dick Morris told us today Cain is now in contention and he may very well pass Perry and reach Romney’s numbers.
Sly Stone and Obama were nurtured from the counter culture of the 1960’s and 1970’s. Sly is 68 practically the same age as Herman Cain. Cain interestingly managed to avoid the trappings of that era and carved out a much different path for himself one that many Americans understand and identify with.
Sly Stone and Obama are each the opposite side of the same coin. We have purposely used Sly’s recent travails because they depict a world where Obama came from as he grew up in the US. It is a world of flower children, peace and revolution if such a thing could exist all at once. Maybe that is why Obama has such a hard time creating results. He is a collective mish mash of ideas that all oppose themselves and could not possibly all exist in the same world. Whereas peace, flower children and revolution cannot coexist together, neither can prosperity when Obama’s government seeks to tax every last dime of prosperity from its citizens. Perhaps Obama’s thinking is so garbled because he never really had to create anything in the real world a world of value creation.

Maybe Obama modeled himself after Sly’s song:” I am every day people.” Obama is anyone he needs to be that day. Does he even know whom he is? We don’t even know whom he is.
Like Sly, Obama does not understand prosperity. When he gets it he immediately loses it because he never really ever made anything of material consequence. Obama has always been weaned on a welfare system that gives him his livelihood. He never understood that that welfare comes from a productive class that has to be productive for him to have his welfare. Every dime Obama has made in his life came from some kind of government handout. What is it you hear now daily? Tax the rich which really means tax anyone with a job. That is the productive class. That is Obama’s message of envy, resentment and hopelessness. We will not count the years he worked in a law firm. They were too few to matter.
Is it any wonder that Herman Cain is surging in the Republican polls?
Listening to Herman Cain’s message is so inspiring. It is a message of self reliance, resourcefulness, wealth building and prosperity. Cain embodies all these traits because he has lived them. Cain is very much his own man. Obama is anybody’s man.
Who is Herman Cain?
We have absolutely no idea whom Barack Obama is or where he came from.
There is no doubt about whom Herman Cain is or where he came from. This man’s background is rock solid. What you see is what you get. There are simply no doubts. Nothing is hidden from view.
“Herman Cain grew up in Atlanta, Georgia and his dad worked three jobs—as a janitor, a barber and a chauffeur—and his mother was a domestic worker. Even though these jobs required hard work and little glamour, his parents knew this life was better than the dirt farms upon which they grew up. They also knew that this hard work was the key to achieving their American Dreams.
Herman’s parents wanted to own their own house and they wanted both of their children to graduate from college. During the segregation era in the Deep South, these aspirations might have seemed lofty, but they knew that if they kept their faith in God, faith in themselves and faith in the greatest country on the Earth, they could achieve.
The first dream was realized in a modest brick house on Albert Street in Atlanta, Georgia. After years of saving from his many jobs, Herman’s father surprised the whole family, even his wife, by purchasing a home for their family. The second dream was realized when Herman graduated from Morehouse College with a degree in mathematics in 1967. His brother, Thurman, would go on to graduate from Morris Brown College.
Inspired by the work ethic and character of his parents, Herman continued his education by earning his Master’s degree in computer science from Purdue University while working full-time developing fire control systems for ships and fighter planes for the Department of the Navy. Though Herman enjoyed using his talents as a civilian employee for the Navy, he gravitated towards the culture of business.
Herman returned to his home of Atlanta to begin working as a computer systems analyst for the Coca-Cola Company. After considerable success at Coca-Cola, he moved to the Pillsbury Company. Within a short period of time, Herman rose to position of Vice President. He became the regional vice president of Pillsbury’s Burger King division. He started from the ground up dodging grease fires and broiling hamburgers. Herman was assigned to lead a low performing region of 450 of their restaurants. Within three years, it became the best performing region in the company.
Cain then went on to accept one of the biggest challenges of his business career which was to become the President and CEO of Godfather’s Pizza, a company that was teetering on the edge of bankruptcy. In just 14 months, Herman returned Godfather’s to profitability and he led his management team to a buyout of the company.
Cain was named President of the National Restaurant Association. Under Cain’s leadership, the group grew significantly and began to lobby for the interests of America’s restaurateurs and small business owners.
In 1994, as head of the National Restaurant Association, he had the opportunity to speak with President Clinton during a nationally televised town hall meeting. Here, Herman challenged the President regarding the impact on businesses if his health care overhaul proposal were passed. President Clinton attempted to assure him and the millions of viewers watching at home that his legislation would not harm American business owners and their employees.
Herman was skeptical. “Quite honestly Mr. President, your calculations are incorrect,” he said. “In the competitive marketplace, it simply doesn’t work that way.” His words echoed across America, and Newsweek named Herman Cain the primary saboteur of Hillarycare.
Through these and other appearances on behalf of the National Restaurant Association, Herman began working with business leaders across all sectors of the American economy. This led to his acceptance of a position on the Board of Directors of the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City, and he was subsequently elected their chairman. In this role, he analyzed economic conditions in the region and notified the Federal Reserve of how their policies should respond.
Most recently, he hosted a radio talk show, “The Herman Cain Show,” on Atlanta’s WSB 750 AM/ 95.5 FM. He serves as a regular contributor on several broadcast networks and as a keynote speaker at conferences and events around the nation. ” More…
Cain is also an accomplished choir director and was very involved in gospel singingfor over 20 years. Cain’s voice is amazing to hear. He can carry a tune without any music or accompaniment highlighting a truly gifted singing ability.
Cain makes no apologies for his Christian religion. He is proud of it and he shares it with anyone who asks. How refreshing. What a unifying man! In contrast we are not exactly sure what religion Obama has. It all depends on the politics of the situation.
One of Cain’s greatest challenges
Cain is also a survivor of stage four colon and liver cancer and has been cancer free for many years now.
Herman Cain surging to the top
It is nice to finally see and hear a man who is the adult in the room who does not have an excuse for every disaster he creates and who understands performance and the American way of doing things. Herman is no doubt that man.
