Amazing Spider-Man writer Dan Slott will be making an appearance at Comic Book Jones for the epilouge of the Spider Island story arc in The Amazing Spider-Man series. Dan Slott has written stories for many popular comic book series’ for Marvel and DC. His works include issues of The Avengers: Initiative and one of his most notable works Arkham Asylum: Living Hell in which he co-created with artist Ryan Sook the villian Great White Shark. For anyone who played the Batman: Arkham Asylum video game you may have found pieces of his face in Arkham’s morgue as one of the Riddler easter eggs. Aside from Arkham Asylum: Living Hell, Slott’s work is targeted more to the youthful demographic. He broke into the business writing the comics for the classic cartoon Ren & Stimpy for Marvel and from that point wrote a lot of other comic adaptations of cartoons such as Animaniacs and Scooby Doo.
Slott has shown his exceptional skills in writing great tales in the adventures of superheroes and humorous misadventures of our beloved cartoon heroes. His work ethic is also wonderous shown in his ability writing The Amazing Spider-Man by pumping out two issues a month and sometimes twice in a week.
