That’s right! Now you can shop and/or consign you children’s clothes and gear right here in Clark County on October 14-16th. The event is being held beside the Clark County Fairgrounds at 17701 NE Delfel Rd in Ridgefield.
If you have previously attended the Portland Super Kids Resale events, you know that you can get some outstanding deals on quality, gently used clothes and gear for your children.
For those who are new to Super Kids, but still like to get a good bargain (and who doesn’t, especially these days), it’s time to check out Super Kids Resale-Clark County!
There are many options for participating in this giant consignment event. For example, you might just want to check out the sale as a shopper and look for clothes, toys, gear, furniture, books or other items that you need for your kids. You will, almost certainly, come away with many wonderful items at a fraction of the price you would pay for the same items brand new.
But, if you are feeling a bit more motivated and entrepreneurial, you might be ready to be a consignor. Do you have some clothes, toys, or other children’s items that your kids have outgrown, but are still in great shape? And isn’t it about time to let go of those maternity clothes that are still in good shape? As a consignor, not only will you get rid of unwanted clutter in your house, you will also make some money that you could save for yourself, or use to buy the things you need for your kids. Consigners will earn a minimum of 65% on the sale of their items and will have an opportunity to shop at the consigner presale (basically before the general public).
And for those of you who are seriously into consignment shopping and want to get the most exceptional deals, you could also sign up to volunteer for a work shift and increase your earnings up to 75%. Volunteers get the added benefit of shopping even before the consigners do. Additionally, the more you volunteer, the earlier you are let into the volunteer presale.
New parents also get their own special time to shop prior to the sale opening to the general public.
Whatever you decide, at the very least you are helping your family by saving money. If you choose to consign also, you will also be reducing clutter in your home, earning a little extra cash and going ‘green’ by reducing, reusing and recycling items rather than purchasing new ones.
If you are ready to participate as a consignor and/or volunteering in the Super Kids Resale Clark County vent, go to the website and register on the Clark County page. There is still plenty of time.
Author’s note: I am participating as a consignor and volunteer for the first time and will be documenting my experience. You can follow along with me on the video I have provided with this story for information on how to register, tips, and what worked and didn’t work for me. Happy Consigning.
