The Duchess of Cambridge went it alone for a charity dinner at Clarence House. The dinner was to celebrate the good work of In Kind Direct.
William was due to pay respects to the family of the Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia who passed away.
Kate looked very Hollywood in a soft green gown that featured a ruched top, empire waist and rhinestone encrusted crossed straps. She added a simple diamond bracelet with circular stones and drop earrings. Jimmy Choo shoes rounded out the look.
It was hard not to notice that her gown somewhat matched the drapes in the room where she greeted guests. The design was created by Amanda Wakely. The gown design was much more of a risk for Kate compared to other designs she has worn. It seems she has stepped up on the confidence level.
William sure will be proud when he sees the pictures.
