Looking for a bit of entertainment his weekend that won’t put a big dent in your wallet? Consider a road trip down south to Orange County to attend Tustin Tiller Days. The admission fee: free! Since 1957, Tustin Tiller Days has been a regular event in Tustin. The event provides an opportunity for Tustin to celebrate Orange County’s agricultural heritage. In addition, it is also an opportunity for local non-profit groups to raise funds. Over the years, local civic organizations have raised thousands of dollars to benefit a wide variety of local needs. Event hours are: Friday, September 30 (4:00 PM to 11:00 PM); Saturday, October 1 (11:00 AM to 11:00 PM); and Sunday, October 2 (11:00 AM to 8:00 PM). Address: 17522 Beneta Way, Tustin, CA 92780.
Free entertainment is provided throughout the weekend including bands, dance groups, plays, skits, magic shows, poetry, creative readings, comedians, and puppeteers. On Saturday from 7:30 to 9:30, you can enjoy a pancake breakfast (pancakes, eggs, sausages, orange juice, and coffee) for only $5.00. Following the breakfast, the Tiller Days Parade will kick off at 10:00 AM. For a modest fee, you can purchase a wristband for the carnival attractions, which include rides, games, and other attractions ($25 at the carnival; $20 pre-sale). Individual tickets and sheets of tickets are also available for purchase at the event.
