The attorney who represented Michael Jackson in 2005, Tom Mesereau, appeared on the Joy Behar show, and discussed the Conrad Murray trial. He explained what he feels the prosecution had done well, and what two things that the defense has to get over to prove their case.
There has been a few witnesses to testify thus far, and the testimonies have been compelling, and there is worldwide interest in this trial. According to Mesereau, he explained that the defense will have to explain why propofol was in the Jackson home, since it is dangerous to be given to a patient outside of a hospital setting. The other thing is the fact that Conrad Murray did not tell the paramedics that propofol was administered, and again, at the hospital, Murray did not reveal that the drug was given. Mesereau stated that he believes that Murrray withholding that propofol was given destroys his credibility.
There are many opinions about what has been said in testimony thus far, and it remains to be seen what will be stated in the testimonies given today.
What do you think of what Mesereau said of Conrad Murray withholding that propofol was given to Michael Jackson? Are you following this trial? What do you think of the witnesses that have been called to testify?
