Just in time for the True Blood season 4, episode 12 finale “And When I Die,” new spoilers are hitting the Internet. Spoiler alert! Stop reading now if you don’t want to know what will happen during the season finale.
Here’s the bad news Truebies… Someone will die. Michael Ausiello has leaked the info that “by the end of the hour, the show will be down at least one series regular.” Oh no! Who will it be? Of course no one knows for certain (at least no one who’s talking), but speculation has begun to swirl.
One name being thrown out as a possiblity is Eric. It would be terribly bad for Sookie (not to mention ratings) if the sexy Viking vampire was killed off this season. True, he volunteered to give his life for Sookie, but surely she doesn’t want to see him follow through with that promise. But alas, the preview for the season finale shows Eric and Bill chained together in a fire and anything can happen. Couple that with the fact that is heard telling the vamps that an order has been issued for their deaths. Also in the preview, Pam is crying. That girl never cries, so that can only mean one thing, right?
Maybe. But maybe Pam is crying because Eric (her maker) is casting her aside for disobeying him. It was said in the “Inside the Episode” video (click here to view) that Pam’s disobedience “fractures her relationship with Eric.” The video goes on to say,
“After 150 years together, it is over. Throughout the next couple of episodes and even next season, we’re going to see that there’s a problem with Eric and Pam because Pam disobeyed him.”
That can only mean that both Eric and Pam will be around next season. Maybe Eric and Bill will escape from the fire and kill Nan; after all, she is a series regular.
Then there is also the issue of the wolves. Surely, Alcide’s killing of the pack master will not go unnoticed by the rest of the pack. Will Alcide pay the ultimate price for killing Marcus?
Maybe. But, not so fast. In one of the previews, Debbie is seen holding a shotgun. That may indicate that the television show will follow the books and get rid of Miss Pelt. In the books, Debbie comes after Sookie in a jealous rage and attempts to kill Sookie. She is unsuccessful and Sookie winds up shooting Debbie, killing her. Debbie is a series regular too! She qualifies!
