This is just one article within a series of articles about the Occupy Wall Street protests.
With a wink and a smile, President Obama commented on the Occupy Wall Street protesters, “I think part of people’s frustrations, part of my frustration, was a lot of [lending] practices that should not have been allowed weren’t necessarily against the law, but they had a huge destructive impact,…”
He coyly blames ‘others’ for the frustrations of Americans without taking any of the responsibility, himself. Obama certainly understands the strategy, tactics and goals of the community organizers, such as ex-SEIU Union employee, Steve Lerner, who helped to organize the Occupy Wall Street movement. Obama used to be one of them!
The revolutionary organizers of the Occupy Wall Street protests are following the tactics and strategies based on the book, “Rules for Radicals” by Saul Alinsky which he dedicated to Satan. Known as the ‘father of modern American radicalism,’ Saul D. Alinsky (1909-1972) developed ruthless strategies and tactics that take the enormous, unfocused emotional energy of grassroots groups and transform it into effective anti-government and anti-corporate activism.
Obama was a Community Organizer in Chicago and follower of Saul Alinsky; he knows how to play the game of getting others to protest without taking any of the heat. In 1985, Obama began a 4-year stint as a community organizer in Chicago, working for a group called the Developing Communities Project.
From 1999 to December, 2002, Obama along with friend, William Ayers, founder of the Weather Underground domestic terrorist organization, sat on the Board of a non-profit organization called the Woods Fund and gave money to the Midwest Academy for the purpose of training radicals in the techniques and tactics of Alinsky.
Alinsky’s rules and tactics are based on the strategies of Antonio Gramsci, an Italian Communist and Community Organizer. Instead of bloody battles, he relies on gradualism, infiltration and the dialectic process….it’s like the slow boil. You don’t know you’re cooked until it’s over.
According to Gramsci, there are ten easy steps toward a progressive-socialist-Marxist civil society:
- change the popular consensus
- destroy Christianity, the traditional family, and existing social mores
- transform the culture
- install a radical Left mind-control
- attain political power
- impose strict control of the military and law enforcement restrict freedom
- socialize the economy
- erase American sovereignty
- embrace a world without borders
America has been slowly transformed to this model over the last 40 years, and now we’re ready for the final push to overthrow American capitalism.
In terms of our current protests, according to Alinsky, “The first step in community organization is community disorganization. Present arrangements must be disorganized if they are to be displace by new patterns…. All change means disorganization of the old and organization of the new.”
The job then is getting the people to move, to act, to participate; in short, to develop and harness the necessary power to effectively conflict with the prevailing patterns and change them. His goal was always to whip up the grass roots crowds by pointing to the inequality of the nation, like the Haves vs. the Have Nots, and to agitate to the point of conflict.
The Occupy Wall Street protests are perfect examples of the Alinsky methods. Our economy has weakened. Protesters in the street are willing participants believing that they are protesting to create more jobs, to strengthen the real estate industry and to expand the economy. They don’t realize they are pawns of the organizers, like Steven Lerner.
Over the last 3 years, unemployment has risen, real estate has fallen, and Obama is even rewarding states for their food stamp program. The President recently gave $5 million to Oregon after they expanded their food stamps program. With so many Americans feeling the pain of a bad economy, Steve Lerner has pitted the perceived Have Nots against the Haves by creating a slogan of 1% vs. 99%. In some way, this relates that 99% of the population is controlled by 1% of the population. It’s a bumper sticker slogan with no explanation of how it impacts us.
By increasing the conflict, the Organizers hope to create ‘organized chaos’ which will eventually take down American capitalism, the goal of Alinsky and his followers.
My upcoming articles will inform you about the organizers, how they’re training, their tactics and techniques.
