The Wilder-Swaim House is located at 7650 Cooper Road. Built in 1815, the Wilder-Swaim home is a one and half story house. The Wilders lived in this home from 1833 to 1879 and the Swaims were living here from 1917 to 1976. In 1840, there was a major expansion done to the house due to the community rapidly changing. In this area of Montgomery it is rare to find a house such as the Wilder-Swaim home even with it surviving all these years. Other places that you can visit in this area is the Blair House, the Montgomery Salthouses, the Universalist Church Historic District and the Yost Tavern.
