There’s still time to get in on a number of HGTV-related summer sweepstakes promos before they’re gone for good.
Prizes range from room makeovers to new floors; and the contests target everyone from financially-strapped teachers with big hearts to folks who believe they can make a killer salad.

WIN A $100 GIFT CARD from Dole in its “Find Your Inspiration” salad kits promo campaign. Launched in May with Candice Olson of HGTV’s “Candice Tells All,” the sweepstakes continues with spokesperson Clinton Kelly of TLC’s “What Not to Wear” and ABC’s upcoming daytime talk show “The Chew.” The campaign’s second 10-week phase focuses on nonfood designers and combines advertising, in-store promotions, coupons, sweepstakes, social media pages, according to a Dole news release. To compete in the “Stylish Salad Sweepstakes,” applicants must submit a recipe and photo of their salad, and fill out a form at dole.com/salad before Sept. 26.
Bounty has recruited HGTV’s Robert and Cortney Novogratz of “Home by Novogratz” for its promotion of TeacherWishList.com, which was created after a Bounty study showed that 71% percent of teachers spend an average of $462 out of their own pockets for school supplies. That adds up to millions spent every year. Through Sept. 27, teachers who register their school wish lists at the website are entered for a chance to WIN A $462 GRANT FROM BOUNTY to fulfill items on their wish lists. Additionally, schools with five or more registered teachers are entered for a chance to win a grand prize $25,000 Novogratz art classroom makeover. When parents print out their teacher’s wish lists they’ll have the opportunity to receive a $1-off coupon good on any Bounty product.
Valpak Direct Marketing Systems – the folks behind that blue envelope of coupons that comes in the mail – is running a sweepstakes promoting “HGTV Design Star.” WINNERS WILL SCORE $5,000 CASH FOR A ROOM MAKEOVER. Through Sept. 9, consumers can enter the sweepstakes by using their smartphones to snap or scan the quick response (QR) code on the blue envelope. After entering, consumers can watch a video featuring “HGTV Design Star,” share with their friends on Facebook or Twitter, and post to their calendar to receive a reminder to watch the series. Viewers can also go to Valpak.com to enter.
Carpet manufacturer and flooring provider Shaw Floors presents “30 Days of HGTV HOME,” a month-long sweepstakes offering consumers the chance to WIN A FREE FLOOR from its new HGTV HOME Flooring by Shaw collection, as well as opportunities to score a HGTV HOME Flooring by Shaw canvas tote bag and a 4’ x 6’ area rug with the purchase of flooring from the collection. Enter by visiting Shaw’s Facebook page, where you must “Like” Shaw Floors to be able to register. Participants can enter daily by voting for one of five rooms created by remodeling bloggers during the HGTV HOME Flooring by Shaw Blogger Design Challenge in High Point, N.C this summer.
